Mark as Useful I have been getting at least 9 threatening calls a day on my cell phone and work phone with a guy with a accent and a attitude saying I have legal issues about something with cash advance. I admit I applied for something, but never received any money, I also asked this mean guy to confirm my soc. sec. number and he had it wrong, but new my name and where my bank was. What to do in this case.

Mark as Useful They called my home phone number even though we are on the Federal DNC list. The phone rang three times but when I picked up, they hung up. Our phone company (Optimum/Cablevision) listed the origination of the call as "Dial It, NJ" -- yeah, seems like spoofing by telemarketers using random dialers and surpressing after the fact against the DNC.
